Paula Hoyos, PA-C, developed an increasing interest in the medical field from her experiences as a patient and endeavors with healthcare clubs during her school years. She started by exploring more aspects of science, in addition to volunteer work at local hospitals, and eventually transitioned to shadowing numerous healthcare professionals. As she dove further into this realm, Paula decided to follow medicine as a career path, so she could positively impact patients' lives and the healthcare industry as a whole.
